Samira Effa, Head Chef at Bar & Restaurant EightyEight, is competing in the 2024 series of hit BBC Two cooking competition, Great British Menu. This will be her third time competing on the popular cooking TV show.

Grantley Hall has been chosen by luxury Cognac House, LOUIS XIII, as one of 13 global locations to offer the exclusive Rare Cask 42.1 by the glass in the Norton Bar & Courtyard. The unique decanter is the third in the Rare Cask collection.

Huddersfield-born Samira began her career in a local restaurant while still at school, inspired by her Iranian mother and Nigerian father. She has since worked in various MICHELIN-starred restaurants nationwide so far.
