Expand your wine knowledge or simply discover something new whilst you are staying at Grantley Hall. Our various wine tasting experiences will see you explore wines from across the globe as you are guided through by our team of Sommeliers.
Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome from a member of our Estate Sommelier team. Your experience begins in the elegant Brook Room or the dedicated Wine Tasting Area, where you will be guided through an engaging session. Designed to be both educational and immersive, our wine tasting sessions offer the perfect balance of expertise and relaxation in a warm, convivial setting.
Our wine tasting experiences usually last between 60 - 90 minutes and our Sommeliers are more than happy to adjust based on your preferences, going into more detail for those with a keen interest.
All of our wine tastings can be altered to suit individual palates, so please let our team know if there are particular types or styles of wine that you enjoy.
A 20g serving of Cornish salted Exmoor caviar over ice can also be added to any tasting, served with fresh blinis & crème fraîche for a supplement of £104 per pair.
Available seven days a week. Monday - Saturday: 14:00 - 16:30 and Sunday: 15:30 - 17:30.
Each wine experience includes:
Plan Your Visit
- An 80ml measure of each glass of wine served by the Coravin system or a wine dispenser
- A charcuterie and cheese board with crackers
- Explore a selection of six wines from around the world: three white, three red
- Guests’ choice of wine from any particular country or grape variety can be requested. Sparkling, rosé, orange or sweet wines are only available upon prior request
